IDEALists at the Sabarmati Festival 2016 on the Riverfront

This January, IDEAL (Institute of Design Expression Art & Learning) was proud to be a part of the Sabarmati River Festival organised from 6th to 10th January 2015.

As part of the celebrations there, the Institute exhibited the latest from its Glass & Fabric lines. This included Stained Glass Lamps, Fused Glass Sculptures, Glass Furniture, Silk work, Apparels & Home Furnishings. It was truly a memorable experience for everyone included. IDEAL conducts CEPT Winter School Workshop on campus

The Institute of Design Expression Art & Learning (IDEAL) kicked off December with a 10-day workshop for CEPT University.

The workshop was appropriately titled ‘Understanding Material – Glass’ & focussed on a number of Design & Surface Ornamentation Techniques.

Conducted from 30th November 2015 to 9th December 2015, at the IDEAL Campus in Ambawadi, the workshop proved to be a great way to kick off the very hectic month of December!

‘PEHCHAAN – PERCEPTIONS’ A HUGE SUCCESS!

‘PEHCHAAN – Perceptions’, The Year-End Exhibition at IDEAL, was well received and a runaway success.

This was a collection of thoughts & perceptions expressed in the media of Glass, Wood, Fabric & Fine Art to name a few.

From the inauguration by Smt. Anarben Patel & Shri Surendrabhai Patel, to a LIVE Demo by Artist Deviba Wala, to a series of interactive sessions with Artists, the event had everything & more!

IDEAL celebrates the Spirit of Womanhood!

The Institute of Design Expression, Art & Learning (IDEAL) has seen more than a decade of Design Excellence, under the leadership of Mrs. Asha Mandapa, who herself is well known in India & abroad for her extensive structural & ornamental work in the medium of Glass among others.


For her remarkable contribution to the society as an Artist & Designer, our Honorable Director was invited to be part of a show organized as a tribute to the Late Jasuben Shilpi, the ‘Bronze Woman of India’.
We, at the Institute of Design Expression, Art & Learning were very happy to be a part of this Celebration of the Spirit of Womanhood on 10th December at the Hutheesing Visual Art Center.
